The VU + Duo 4K SE comes in TWIN DVBS2X 2 tuners type Plug & Play Full Band Capture (FBC) version and offers ultra-fast program changes. The built-in tuner slots offer space for 2 FBC tuner modules (DVB-T2, DVB-C). CPU resources are important, Gigabit LAN, DualBand WiFi, BT and USB 3.0 ports open up completely new possibilities for the future.
A DVB-S2 FBC Twin tuner has 8 demodulators. On two conventional power cables (e.g. Twin-LNB), the tuner is comparable to 2 conventional tuners and 6 additional tuners operating in continuous operation. Thus, you can see 8 different transponder transmitters of 2 different satellite levels at the same time. In SCR (Unicable) operation with 8 frequencies, this is equivalent to 8 conventional tuners.
What is a DVB-C FBC tuner?
A DVB-C FBC tuner has 8 demodulators. This is equivalent to a receiver with 8 traditional DVB-C tuners. Thus, you can watch 8 stations at the same time, stream or record at the same time.
